Why do I need to wait 2 hours between taking my multivitamin and eating dairy?

Calcium interferes with iron absorption, so leave a 2-hour gap between dairy/calcium and your iron source: your multivitamin if you take capsules, or your Ferro tablet if you take chewables (chewables themselves don't contain iron or copper).

Calcium can reduce how much iron your body absorbs when the two are taken close together. Building in a 2-hour gap helps you get the most out of your supplement.

If you take capsules
Wait at least 2 hours between your multivitamin and any calcium or dairy products (milk, cheese, yoghurt, and so on).

If you take chewables
Chewable multivitamins don't contain iron or copper, as these minerals aren't pleasant to chew. That's why we give you a separate Ferro tablet alongside your chewables.
Wait at least 2 hours between your Ferro tablet and any calcium or dairy products.
